fair trade financials is a socially conscious intermediate who directly contributes to people and organizations in chance countries, by connecting finance knowledge and professionals with organizations. "Entrepreneurial support against poverty" is our mission statement.
fair trade financials is an initiative of Jody van Seumeren (1966). He has made career as a finance professional since 1991, in auditing, controlling and as CFO for various international organizations. He combined the final responsibility of Finance, HR and IT disciplines in several positions. Jody works as an independent entrepreneur on interim and project basis since 2005 and had his share in corporate social responsibility.
Jody travelled through several countries in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and visited several projects, in the past decade. He also assigned his finance knowledge and expertise to local medium-size entrepreneurs in chance countries. An image has been created of lost continents, largely depending on gifts and donations, through this experience. We believe that people and their environment in chance countries really profit from direct support of their (economic) initiatives, so they themselves can build a decent living where they can be proud of. This experience created the desire to contribute finance professionalism for developing countries, which we call chance countries.
fair trade financials connects finance professionals with organizations in The Netherlands and business cases at chance countries. Additionally, fair trade financials initiates business connections and connects investors with risk-bearing projects in chance countries.
